Membership Types

Pharmacist

Pharmacist members are pharmacists licensed by any state, district or territory of the United States who support the purposes of the Society.

Associate

$100

Associate members are individuals who by their work in health services, the teaching of prospective pharmacists who will practice in healthcare settings, or otherwise contributing to pharmacy services in health care settings.

Not entitled to vote or hold elected office.

Student

$10

Pharmacy Intern members are individuals enrolled in an accredited or ACPE recognized College of Pharmacy.

Not entitled to vote or hold elected office.

Spousal rate $160 for 2 spouse members

Spouses who are each Pharmacists may join/renew at a spousal rate of $160. Each spouse maintains full Pharmacist member benefits. This rate discounts dues for spouses in the Pharmacist category. The dues paid allow the paying member and a spouse to join at a discount (currently $20 per member). Members MUST contact the SCSHP office to add an eligible spouse after joining or renewing at this rate.

Technician

Technician members are individuals who help provide pharmacy services in organized health care settings and who work under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Resident

$35

New Graduate / Resident / Fellow members are Pharmacists graduating within the previous two calendar years or that are enrolled in a postgraduate residency training or fellowship program.

Tier 1 (3-5 pharmacist members) $ 400.00

Tier 2 (6-10 pharmacist members) $ 800.00

Tier 3 (11-15 pharmacist members) $ 1,200.00

Tier 4 (16-20 pharmacist members) $ 1,600.00

Tier 5 (21-25 pharmacist members) $ 2,000.00

Tier 6 (26-30 pharmacist members) $ 2,400.00

Tier 7 (31+ pharmacist members) $ 2,800.00

Institutional membership is an affordable and effective way to purchase SCSHP memberships for you pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. By being a member of SCSHP you are opening the door for networking and educational opportunities for your staff. In addition, members can foster professional growthy by participating in committee work on any of our committees as well as be eligible for our yearly awards. Our committees currently include: Legislative Affairs, Professional Affairs, Education and Networking, Student and Resident Affairs, Vendor Relations, Communications, Junior Board Members, Awards, and Membership.

Institutional members may register all departmental pharmacy employees regardless of full-time status. For each pharmacist member registered, a pharmacy technician may be registered as well for free.

SCSHP is a state affiliate of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.
