The SCSHP Board is very pleased to announce the creation of the SCSHP Foundation for the Advancement of Health-System Pharmacy. The mission and purpose of the Foundation is to promote, support and fund projects within the state of South Carolina that benefit the profession of pharmacy and the patients we serve. We are particularly excited to support pharmacy and technician student activities and mentoring programs that focus on leadership within the profession. SCSHP has refocused its attention over the past year and is functioning in a proactive manner in regards to legislation and regulation within our state, including working with legislators and lobbyists, the Pharmacy Association and committee membership appointments with the Board of Pharmacy. The Foundation work will continue to develop leaders within health-system pharmacy to ensure the protection and promotion of our profession.

The SCSHP Foundation is a not-for-profit, 501c(3) organization that is tax-exempt and your gifts will be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. If you have questions about our SCSHP Foundation, please contact the SCSHP office.

How can you get involved?

Please consider a tax-deductible gift of cash, stock, real estate, etc. Your pledge can be made over a period of years if that is more convenient. You can also remember the SCSHP Foundation in your estate planning. In order for the Foundation to be successful, it relies on the generosity and support of our members, corporations and grants.
